What's in a name?

I've used two nicknames.
1. StringCheesian: a play on my real name.
2. ProfAsdf: on Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge. Prof because I'm the absent-minded professor type and Asdf because everything else was taken.

Relsoft stands for my initials. Yes, very artistic. ;*( Actually, a lot of people only knew me by my initials as REL since I got a few high scores on the arcades. So I used Rel as a base for my nick.

I also used Genso and Jelly. Jelly came from my daughter actually. I was coding an entry for QBNZ's 9 line screensaver and at the same time teaching her the alphabet. My daughter kept on pointing to the letter J (as in Jelly) so I said I might as well, do the jelly thing and enter as jelly. :*)

and i kept thinking xterra or something.. cause i herd the werd in a comercial... so, i took xterra + company and got xteraco...

Xterra is a SUV as far as I know, Nissan Xterra.. Terra is Latin for land, or earth,. X means cross.. so its full name, proper for a SUV is.. Nissan Cross Land... Nissan Xterra is a cooler sounding shorter version of that, that the product actualy goes by.. their ads are cool BTW, he he (1million uses and counting)... :wink:

So your name would mean "Cross Land Company"... :wink: .. getting technical about it....

Another fun car name fact: "Toyota Supra": "Supra" in latin means "above", and I must say the name fits that car.. :wink:

I used TheJaymaster for my old screen name on xbox live and forums, derived from my real name : Jason

I needed a second RuneScape account so i thought up another name, i came up with TheDarkJay, derived from my real name, my pessimistic{sp] (negative) attitude (Dark meaning negative behaviour) and my original screen name from a year or two back. I decided i like TheDarkJay more and chose to keep it. I do use Soul Of Azur from time to time, but that derives from an old clan of mine, Azur.

My nick just somthing i picked seem kind of cool. i took the nick to place a lot of distance away from my older handel which i picked when i was like 13 or 14 not going to even say the nick since it imbraces the hell out of me.
