I'm officially switching to FreeBasic
#11
To Adosorken, Neo, and Lachie:

Oops, pardon me. ^_^o Apparently, I will be the first tonight to admit to all of you that I have missed the point on what Lachie clearly said from the top of his opening post in this thread about him being a game designer and not a programmer. Sorry about that, folks. Smile !

At first, I thought being a game designer had something to do with programming, but then it becomes suddenly a *very* fine line of a difference between a game designer and a programmer and what they really do mean, you know now? Wink I did not know about that at all. After all, I am only human and I make mistakes as well.

Well, with all of that said, be seeing you all again. No hard feelings, and my apologies here tonight. Big Grin

If you program, you're a programmer. If you design games, yout're a game designer. If you learned to do programming, art, music, and design to make games, you're a programmer, artist, musician, and game designer. Tongue

That said, I'm a game developer too. Wink

I already have your lovely lib Adigun. Thanx again for making it.

As for programmer/game designer issue I just don't like to call myself a programmer. I know that much programming as much I need it to complete or advance the look of my game.

Anyway, someone who know only QBasic really can't call himself a programmer. Me thinks.

why not qbasic is a programming lang, all being a programmer means is to be able to write a program that runs on a computer.

so what you don't have the biggest knowleadge base but a couple years down the road with working with FB your going to start picking up a lot more things.
