Yeah - It is really funny how those people think that everyone is American or English, and they make fun of us when we mistake...
But the funniest thing is when they do mistakes when making fun of us  :rotfl:

"when we mistake"
Mistake is not applicable in that context. As a verb, it is a slant synonym for "confuse", in which case you need to append the appropriate clauses for such usage: "when we mistake one rule of grammer for another" But, with the connotation you intended, it would be more appropriate to use "mistake" as a noun, in which case your sentence would look like this: "when we make mistakes" Anyhow, that's just a little anal retentiveness for you. Has my American egomaniacal assurance of my own grammatical superiority convinced you of your inability to speak a second language as well as I speak my first?

Quote:"when we mistake" All that discussion just demonstrates my point: You understood me, even if I was wrong with my grammar. Just be a little less picky, and loose your eyes when reading viners Quote:Anyhow, that's just a little anal retentiveness for you. Has my American egomaniacal assurance of my own grammatical superiority convinced you of your inability to speak a second language as well as I speak my first? What would be really odd is that I spoke my second language as well as you speak your first.

I speak my second language as well as my first, and can write and read better than my first.
