Honestly, I still think that OS X is the best operating system ever written.

It is beautiful, but still is the fastest OS I know. It is minimalist, efficient, small, speedy, and is built for the exact needs of every single user. It is secure, is built on Unix and has some of the best search and automation features in an OS.

And today...they released Tiger. It will revolutionize home computing.

It will? Hrm...now I expect my computer to start doing backflips and do my work for me. Big Grin

Doesn't that seem slightly improbable? I'm sure it's not built for my needs; I need an operating system that can run on an Intel x86 processor...

Argh you're twisting my words.

Look, what you said is stupid.

Anyway, I can't be fucked to get into one of these arguments again.

Use what you want.

Oh... thought about it for a minute and realized maybe you were speaking of "single user" as in a single-user computer... Sorry...

To paraphrase an old adage; Conqured Apple held Microsoft Captive. M$ has done a good job of turning Apple into a de facto low cost R&D department. I fiqure many of the features in Panther and Tiger will be included in Longshot in some watered down form.
