Glad to see you are working on it, I thought it was a very sweet looking engine.

Quote:try disabling legacy usb support in the BIOS. Restart your computer, access the bios (press whatever button to access your bios, it might tell you... if not, try F1, F2, del, ins... etc. etc. etc. at the computer logo screen or basically before it starts booting windows.) Disable Legacy USB support then try with EMS enabled. worked for me.
^^ like barok said. For me, I have to disable all advanced options of my motherboard to have enough memory for the EMS pageframe. Which means, I disable all networking abilities, firewire, and usb. The sound can be left on.
Yeah.. sometimes it's a hassle to have to reboot into BIOS, change settings, run program, reboot into BIOS again, and post something on the internet.

I'm not here to slam the demo. I just said it doesn't look good on my computer. I took screenshots and it looked fine but when playing the game it looked terrible. I'm using a school computer, so all I know is it's a Dell PC running XP Home Edition with SP1, 256MB memory, and a 2.40GHz Intel Celeron ( :barf: ) CPU. Sorry, I was in a hurry. I don't spend much time at school during the summer, which is probably the reason my old account got deleted last year. I decided on a less noobie name than the old one: THEWizardGenius.

I'm not saying it's a bad game, though the perspective seems a bit warped to me. I'm only saying it looks like sh!t on these computers- which, admittedly, are fairly cr@ppy.

(edit)
It's actually not bad other than what I consider slightly warped perspective, if you ignore the problems I'm having. However, I don't like several things, for example that you can go upside down on the ceiling, and that you can't shoot anything (that ugly lady would make a perfect target hahahahaha). Also, the motion is kinda weird. I like it in some ways, since it's kinda retro (like DOOM) but in some ways I prefer more realistic motion.

THEWizardGenius: Comp you ran it on is superior to the one I used when designing it..... I use an AMD Sempron running at 700mHz.I'm reasonably sure the problem was with XP, not the comp.

Neo: I'm not sure what's wrong...I forgot to make the errormsg$ variable global so other modules can't return errors.... Oh well.
