i dont think you can use that bit. in fact, i think that bit was just something added in windows (and windows is probably the only thing that uses it)

You can use transparency.....transparency is when a put doesn't cover up what is under the pixel, if the pixel is the right color.....err.

The manual just says an rgb of (1.0, 0.0, 1.0). Blitz answered b4, but I forgot.

future lib doesnt work much better with my voodoo, but it can do all the 16 bit modes. frankly, it's not something you should worry about, voodoo users are growing thinner and better (older) nvidia cards are coming down in price. (i found an upgraded tnt2 for 15 bucks)

Hmm, but aren't the ATI Radeon series is still going strong, head-to-head with the latest GeForce cards? I guess that's 9X00 cards tho.. maybe they ironed out the bugs.

Currenty, ATi is owning nVidia's a$$. But their VESA compatibility is still not that great.

It isn't going anywhere, so I'm just going to put the game up for grabs. Anyone can add it to their site if they please. It was a good learning experience though. I learned craploads. Who knows, I might start over again with more knowledge than before.
