the next generation consoles will not have that great games really, i mean people can talk about the amazing graphics and stuff, but who is crazy enough to fund making a game, every game will cost millions to fund

Well, sure new technology is more expensive at first, but... if the gaming industry had somehow followed that pattern then, say, n64 games would've cost a helluva lot more to make than they did :wink:

it's actually an admitted problem, programmers and producers in the console industry are openly worried about the cost of making these games.

yep, quite possibly. Don't forget, that alot of the money that goes into the game isn't soley dependant on the fanciness of the graphics/sound etc... Basically, these games will be the same games as before, with prettier graphics and maybe slightly better AI.....If someone actually tried to harness the power for something other than graphics...they'd go bankrupt. lol

Maybe not... They might actually make a really fun game, like the old nes/snes games. Gfx are really easy these days.
