I'm no expert, but it seems good for what we paid for it. Maybe i'll record myself playing on it so you guys can hear what it sounds like... Be warned though, I really suck. In fact, this laptop of mine has a built in mic! Maybe I will!
Btw, strings here cost $4.50-$10.00, the $10.00 for the good kind. I don't really care to pay that much for strings.

Seeing as that's about the average price for strings regardless of where you are, and unless you horribly abuse them on a regular basis they'll last a prettttty long time, I wouldn't say it's that much of a loss.

Quote:Um. Of course it's possible to get great instruments for cheap prices. Just not too common.
Like I said, my guitar (looking it up a few days ago and it got pretty damn good reviews) was given to me. My Fender electric/acoustic mandolin-- around 100 bucks, worth over 200. You just have to look.
yes, it was given to you probably because your a L33T guitarist. 8) Your Fender worth 200$, my Strat supposedly worth 300$, my friends drumset supposedly worth 800$...

[quote]WTF? You can't by an eletric for 25$! Silly goose
...Pardon me? I never said a good electric. I once saw a (original, not one of those numerous knockoffs) fender strat in a pawn shop for around 20 bucks. Of course there was more than likely something horribly wrong with it, but hey! Also, as long as you're not buying new and/or from some guy who knows his guitars, it is quite possible to buy a good electric guitar for a startlingly low price.
But still...25$...Isn't it new too?
But hey, who am I to say anything!? Get recording and prove me wrong!

Far from that, actually, though I wish I could say I am!
But really, I wouldn't say it's
impossible to get even a new guitar of any caliber for an insanely cheap price-- I'm sure that SOMEWHERE out there, you could find one if you looked hard enough and were determined. Though it might cost you more to find it than buy a new one at any old place.

Gladly, but what would that prove?

I thought you were the guy that posted your recordings of all those sweep picking riffs quite a bit back?
