damaging a pc
#11
Stick to whoopey Cusions... It doesn't cause damage. The moment a "joke" causes damage, you could be put away for "destruction of private property" or something like that... Don't mind me. I don't know my laws.

You could also make a program that clicks the mouse 20x per second. That's quite fun....

i always find it fun to create a new folder on the desktop then access the folder. then create a new textfile. then fill that text file with gibberish. Example:

Code:
fdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdlfdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdlfdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdlfdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdlfdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdlfdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdlfdhkjhaskjfhaskjdhfksahfkjshd hfkjs fskjfhksdfhfucklsdl

then make a copy of that textfile. about 10000 times. Eventually you will fill the entire hard drive with non-sense. then make the "new folder" hidden. and don't tell them for a week. this works best with external HD. the ones that are supposed to hold gigs or even terabytes. or with someone’s ipod. have fun!!!

Yeah, that's an IE bug in non-XP, non-NT-based versions of Windows (basically any Win9x, Win3.1, WinME, etc.) only, iirc. It might be possible in XP, if you do it enough. . .

[syntax="qbasic"]DO
SHELL "start iexplore.exe"
LOOP[/syntax]

should work quite nicely. Actually, you could just keep reopening your program. ;-)

That reminds me of this "javascript" bomb that a friend made. It would open IE like 100 times... Except it was buggy, so no matter what, it would open infinity IE's...

Make this a .bat file (I think that might work, it should screw up the HD, though I'm not about to test it.)

Also, there are even worse ways like accessing ports in QB with OUTs and stuff... I have some hardware killers documented
somewhere but, this is something I don't practice.
