Serial Port commands

Are there any serial port commands for multiplayer? I think there aren't any, but i would like to be sure.

well, there's open com, but i've never used it.

You could write your own modem control software that sends AT commands to the COM port that the modem's on, but that seems a bit like overkill...

The only modem program i've ever seen in qb was a nice bbs made by the m/k guys called 'lil bastard modem warfare', that worked really well. i'd look it up, but if you want multiplayer and have windows, you might consider checking out making tcp/ip calls with dsock (that should work if you're connected to the internet).
