Thanks Antoni - very clever. After inserting the path of my FBC.exe I was able to drag BAS files onto the BAT file for compiling OK.

I suggest the designers of FBC include it in their excellent packages.

Yes, I forgot to indicate fbp depends on where you have located fb in your system. And perhaps this is the reason why it is not included, it would need an installer too. And then, most people is using the FBIDE package, only geeks like us use the command line...

I dled FBC_0.14_FBIde_0.4.2.exe and i have win xp and dragging bas files to fbc.exe works just fine for me

Well, it may work if you have every dir involved in the default path of windows. Probably the FBIDE install did it for you.
If you put in the default path all paths all your apps need you may end with a path too long.
This is why some people prefer to keep the default path to a minimum and set temporally the paths for each app using a batch file. Call us nitpickers....Big Grin
