@xteraco: Now that is a sweet logo
@Kevin: If you add a drop shadow around the folder, creating a border between the yellow and white, it should add a sense of depth to it, as seen here:

Guys...you simply have to know when to use each format. JPEG is for photographs...what do you think the P means?
Photographic. Images with colour pools do not compress well with JPEG, so line art, cartoons, low bitdepth stuff, etc. do not look good as JPEG. You're better off with PNG on those types of images. And yes, JPEG is always lossy unless you use the lossless JPEG algorithm which is not exactly widespread. Using 100% quality JPEG does NOT equate to a lossless JPEG, it simply means that the encoder will try to preserve the original image as closely as possible without breaking the compression algorithm.

That is much better than the original. I was going to suggest outlining the original folder, but now it's 3d, it looks perfect-o

Its a better version, But the artifacts caused by the jpeg compression look awful.
As 10 people have already said... learn when to use suitable formats.
For an image with block colours, use png
For an image with few colours in it use gif
For a complicated image with lots of shades, jpeg.
