Antoni: Thanks, although I don't think this will help me much... 'cause all I don't understand atm is how to do windows and doors... This raycaster, as well as joe kings, both use planes that have their bottoms fixed to the floor, and for doors to make sence... (I.e. having a wall above the door), this doesn't work -- I'll keep researching and pondering tho... I should get it eventually.

IMHO, tweaking the orthogonal one to its maximum would be more feasible before starting a DOOM-style one from the ground up.

But it would rock, as well
