RAM compatibility question
#11
I'm going with Kevin & na_th_an's posts.
The thing is, the RAM I'm transporting is from an older computer to a newer computer (the older computer has 128mb, in 1 64 and 2 32's and the new one has one of 128mb)
I'll try it and see and if it works you'll know.

'Cause basicly DDR wont' fit on DIMM's banks Tongue

We were talking of motherboards who had two kinds of banks. Upon common belief, you cannot use both kinds at the same time, but experience tells the contrary Smile

It depends on the type of ram.
SDR and DDR dont even use the same speeds, even if you could use both at the same time, you'd loose in performance rather than gain.
