Lasagna is the american spelling. Lasagne is the rest-of-the-world spelling. Americans just change it because it's a free country 8)

Lasagne is good, yummi. Also, I think Spaghetti, Pizza, Hutspot (same as Zuurkool but with carrots), Zuurkool (Sauerkraut in German) are delicious.

We the latins and our stupid Ñ.

That letter was invented to show our superiority, 'cause it can't be pronounced by anyone whose 1st language isn't Spanish LOL

What about the "ß"? Or "ø"? Or "æ"?

Nathe, to disprove your point: gn = ñ (gnocchi changed spelling to ñoqui in spanish), english: gn like ni in onion.

Italian GN:
http://www.smartphrase.com/Italian/it_pr...tion.shtml
http://www.uwgb.edu/galta/333/italprn.htm, and
http://home.wanadoo.nl/~mvgompel/pronunc...it_en.html

Spanish Ñ:
http://www.lingolex.com/wom-pronounce.htm
http://www.studyspanish.com/pronunciation/letter_n~.htm, and
http://www.mprz.com/edu/say.html

Interestingly enough, that link points out that "Ñ - PoiGNant and caNYon. People pronounce "canyon" differently, but "poignant" is the best word to get the sound from. The sound we need is the gn sound."

See? Ñ isn't that difficult.

Lasagna, mein Freund.

I prefer my human girls recipe than that "fried children", though.
