Couldn't find Visual Basic 6.0 (or a simular compiler),
#11
I think he means harddisk space. The 2.0 .NET Framework archive is approx. 22.4mb in size compressed. It can't be too large uncompressed. 122mb? That's nothing nowadays. Plus, it doesn't neccesarily take tons of ram to run a .NET app. In the long run the JIT compiler actually does more to save ram than to eat it up, but only with applications fortunately. Serious game companies would laugh at the thought of developing the next Quake in .NET.

You try going back to dialup and downloading something 23MB in size...

I don't think Microsoft sells Visual Basic 6 anymore, but you can probably get it from Amazon or eBay or whatnot if you really need it...

I doubt you will find a QB->VB6 converter anywhere; you'd probably be better off rewriting the code anyway so you actually know how it works when you need to fix/change it someday.

Microsoft has all but abandoned VS98 at this point, save for the SP6 still available on their website and the doc archive. However, you'll find that there are a lot of people who wish to see VB6 further developed.
