The computer I’ve used for all those years just busted!! :(

Quote:My grandma strictly told me *never* to take out the hard drive from the broken computer and transfer it into one of the other ones because she does not want to risk it causing any fires out of that. I am sorry, but it is beyond my control at this point.
:???: Since when do HDDs cause fires? It's just a lil box that plugs into a motherboard....

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!

Why is your grandma giving you computer advice? Please tell me this is a joke and that your "grandma" is really one of the voices in your head (that's the only way she would know what a hard drive is)...

Please?

My dad has a Victor computer from 1986. 8088 processor, DOS and Windows 2.03, monochrome display, but still fast as hell and hasn't yet crashed. They really knew how to make computers back then.
f you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows.
