Your "answer" has nothing to do with the question. The most likely reason why it crashes is because they implemented capability checking later in the development stages and forgot to check for some things. I do this all the time (code now, check later). But, I tend to test on crappy hardware specifically to catch problems before handing the software off to someone else, ie: the user. That the game looks pretty has nothing to do with it crashing. That is crashes has nothing to do with it looking pretty. The game could easly look pretty and not crash just as it could crash and look like ass. Further, everyone needs to stop the attacks, you look like a bunch of n00bs/children but look at the situation from an objective point of view. I have a good system, the game runs fine. Z!re has a good system, it crashes. SJ has an average system, it crashes. What is different from my system and Z!res yet the same between Z!res and SJs? These should be the focal points instead of just saying, "IT'S CRAP!" "NO! YOU'RE CRAP!" "YOU NEED TO STFU!" "YOU NEED TO BE BANNED!" etc. Try to act in a mature manner and deal with the problem like adults. This is why I don't go to #quickbasic. If I wanted to hang around snobbish 5 year olds, I'd hang around prep-schools.

i dont care about the game, she seemed to be really getting out of control, and maybe a ban would give some time to let people cool off.
but, it seems like maybe we can just let tht happen peacefully, right guys??? riiiight?? *stabs*

Either they could make an average game with no crashes, or they could cut time out of polishing, to make the game itself much better. There are many programs infinitely more complex then Oblivion with almost no bugs.
