I changed my mind and decided not to help with your text adventure. No offense...my mind got going and I wanted to try and program a tiny CYOA engine instead. Just wanted to let you know.

Wow, this really went downhill.

I have internet now, so I can work on it more. Working on PONG - The RPG might even help me, with coding skills and all.

I will come up with a method that will work.

Who minds if I dump the contents of the FTP and we start all over? I'll find an anonymous FTP host and we'll try again.

Try enlisting two or three of the better programmers who are willing to help. Then divide up the work among them.

Sorry for double posting, but I'd like to try to help. By the way, in the earlier code why did you use GOTO? Don't you know that's bad programming? Use GOSUB or something similar instead.

Hmm, I didn't really like that code anyway - it seems to have been written a long time ago - we should come up with something fresh.
