okay so me and mr torahteen up there ^^^ were just trying to get his server working at it doesnt seem to work for him. i could host but im at school atm and i have slow net at home so i wont be able to host.
someone else will have to host.
whens this gonna happen? this w/end or the next? i vote for this w/end because it is best for me. but w/ever we all feel like we should.

I found it won't work unless you tell your router to open a port for the game, in this case port 34700. It only needs the one port, but it needs to be mapped and opened or nobody can connect. Slimeland is a little unreliable, I will contact the admin and find out what the go is.

I forwarded the port, and disabled my fw. I'm not sure what else I can do.

then im not sure whats happening if u have tried it with ur firewall completely turned off. go thru the whole connection between ur computer and ur isp and make sure theres nothing in the way. other than that i dont know.

Sorry guys, got stuck with a real life situation. I'm now on holidays from work, and it's about time too.
It seems this weekend is out for me also, since I'm heading north for a day or two. Let's see if we can get more people interested, then try and get a time.

Well, me and Torahteen tested me hosting a game, and it worked great!
For some reason though, Torahteen said my ping wasn't lookin to good, yet I have a 800kbps connection. :-?
So there might be some trouble there, but it should pass.
But, the point is, it worked! So, I think I'm available for hosting, whenever you guys need it. (this weekend, or tomorow, is open for me)
