Is FBTK gone for good, or what?

I miss the old qbtk with those weird skins that changed wherever Sumo, Zap or whoever was in charge felt like it. I loved the spam section and the forum in general. Although I didn't post much in there, I sometimes had great times reading (lurking).

I remember that "put Zap's wizard head in someone's else body" thingy. Lol, it was so damn funny. I remember mario bros, a ballerina, and lots of odd stuff.

Those were the times! Ah, it's hard to be a veteran :lol:

Edit: It's only a little over a year ago that it was closed (Around February 2005). Im downloading the archives now for a bit of nostalgia :b

HAHAHAHA This place was so cool. I didn't remember about the banned word thingo, it was so cool to find which one it was and getting a prize (Spam forum mod! YAY! :lol

I too would love to see it revived, but I doubt that it could be as fun as it was back then, seeing how everyone has moved on to other things - Webber, Pyro, Rhican, and some other guys have disappeared altogether, and sumo and I have our hands full with other projects.

It's better to remember it as a wonderful place than revive it only to have it fail big time, isnt it?

To become a webmaster, one has to register a geocities site (or at least the most prestigious ones do), so Sumo Jo promptly registered one.

After awhile Sumo's geocities site had become one of the most visited sites around (with about 9 visits a day). Sumo decided that to further expand the qbtk empire, so he tried to buy Coca Cola. Unfortunately, they did not see $3 as a realistic bid, nor did they reply to any of his emails.

actually i changed my mind. this is.

It only took Zap one year to install phpBB. Sumo thought this was amazing until he learned that it maybe should have taken Zap 10 minutes. After learning this, Sumo promptly fired Zap (a few seconds later rehiring him because he realized Zap was the only one with the passwords).

That was a great sity. It was a pitty that it came to an end.

Well, I hope we can create something simmilar in the near future. That was just a fun place and nothing else. I really miss it, it gave me good laughs.
