Try some time since umm...Hmm... September 12th, 1999 I'll guess. If only I knew my old QBNZ username. That should date *way* back. AdventMaster dates back to Jan 2005.

I didn't know about the (majority of the Qbasic) forums until x-amount of months ago though ^_^;;, as I never had to look for anything better than the resources I already had until FreeBASIC came out. I lurked in FreeBASIC's forums for some time before joining.

So I guess I just kinda ended that hahah. Seeing as I wasn't involved in the forums, I have no arguement that would back up me having any reason to even think of knowing about this stuff.

Kiz was referring to the scene as here back a few years ago when there was controversy with AAP and his old writing style. Now he's gotten a lot better with it though.

I would have to say out of the top 10 of my all-time FreeBASIC/Qbasic developers, APP is somewhere on the list.

Looking at these posts, I don't think AAP was at fault he was kicked out of xepher. It's just that some people (mostly "respected" QB'e'rs) took it to themselves to coerce xepher to 'ditch" AAP. And if you look closely, other "non-Qbers" who responded in the thread are much more level and non-antagonistic in their replies. The non-qber's wanted the thread closed and what do the QBers do? Antagonize more with childish reasons not to. Don't give me this crap-jargon-brouhaha because I know how to read snide comments.

I've worked with the guy. He's not the best person out there but who is? His writing style would make Pete cry trying to format it for QBE but it's his writing style not yours. You hate his writing style? Don't read it. I sometimes don't.

Your gripe againts him is what? Because he's the "hitler" of his faith? Heh, I'm a Catholic and I don't agree with most of his views but we had somehow been able to work together. It's not that he's imposing his beliefs to you. Even if he does, can he really impose it upon you?

If there was ever a result of that xepher fiasco, it's a confirmation of how "low" as QB'ers we have become.

And my question is. Who was man enough to admit that he's wrong? Only AAP.
