Well, I refused to remove the image, which would, if this was a lawsuit against copyright infringement, be against the law. Since I'm claiming the value of the parody or humor outweighs the infringement.

FileAnchor is located somewhere in the United States, correct? Unless these boy-toy wanabes (who DO look like stereotypical nancy-boy gays, no offence to anyone gay on this forum) have liasons or attourneys in the United States, they don't, as is said where I come from, "have a pot to piss in". In other words, they have no legal basis whatsoever, and are trying as hard as they can to get their way with hollow legal threats. There's very little they can do; the most they can do is have the image removed by complaining to your provider and submitting solid proof that the image in question does in fact violate copyright law (which by the way, it does not). Furthermore, if they choose to pursue this, it will make them look like the biggest flock of retards ever to crawl out of the wastelands of Europe...while giving FileAnchor even more free promotion.

Which is why I didn't take their legal threat seriously at all and created Bertrand J. Von Nostrin to respond to them. If they weren't using empty threats or actually had a case of copyright infringement, I would have reacted differently to the situation. Instead it's obvious their "waving their dicks around to prove they have the biggest" which I wasn't going to take seriously.

Unfortunately, the only people that know about this band are the thousands they've massed spammed through myspace, so it's as if they're getting more publicity of the deal than FileAnchor. :wink:

if you go to their website it says that they live in California, so I dun really know how you got that they were from Britain anyways. And I love Britain, Kiz! I want to live there someday.
