@Sumojo:
Fuck. There's a filter over here... Personal settings?
Quote:Why are they at war?
Oh, basically the good old cheap power-hungry people really . . .
They were all originally from Gaia. They colonized out further eventually and now the people long seperated from their native land feel they are better and deserve more power, while the Gaians feel they should keep the power since they're so well-rounded. Of course, a lot of this was government propaganda to try and get the public itself thinking that they were above the other nation, and that the other nation thought little of them.
The main guys to worry about are those ruling the nations. This is a mixture of much fantasy and science fiction. While I originally had the idea of large use of artillery weapons, the really powerful guys are strong enough to use their spirit power in war.
So on one side you'll have huge tanks shooting out nuclear fusion blasts, and on the other side they might just be lucky enough to have a Chi Master who can manipulate that energy. Pretty fricken sweet IMO.
Quote:The concept of a two places at war with a lone hero "saving the day" seems overdone.
Oh no, there's no way he'd do it. I mean with any story, you have to try and imagine that all the characters are all sort of "main characters" of the story, but you focus on the one person who seems to do the most, while having some sort of future ahead of them.
He wouldn't stop the war on his own. He gets caught in it (probably gets kidnapped and has to take sides just to survive), and leaves the major fighting to the entire civiliations themselves.
The only way he'd get caught up and stop the war is if he confronted the leaders of the planets somehow and something ended up happening to them because of it.

Lol. I had no idea
It was originall Alexander, but I thought using my own name was lame.
@All:
Thanks for the input. I realize much of the story is kinda cheap, but it was just a concept. Don't expect any progress on it ^_^:; I'm far too busy and I probably shouldn't have started thinking of a new story idea so soon.
