HTML/Whatever help
#11
Ok. Thanks anyway, man.

Anyhow, tomorrow I'll go to my college and test it there. I think they have v.6

The odd thing is that WEFT assures that the font feature works with Netscape 4.6+ and MSIE 4.0+... Maybe the font feature DO work if you don't use CSS, so I better look for some info about including fonts *without* using CSS.

Thanks again.

Most pages use a non-serif font for the body of text, since their the easiest on the eyes when reading off a screen, (compared to Times being more elegant on paper) and images for titles/banners. The forum case is a little different, of course...

Im not really sure if its loking like its supposed to be, but i tried mozilla and it looked the same as ie, except the text was going through the tables.....

But the good news, for some great reason the annoying flash/javascript/whatever the hell there called ads dont load up in ie!!!!!!!! Wohoooo!

Those adds don't show probably 'cause you have a restictive security setting. And maybe that's because the fonts doesn't load in your system.

Could you check in the security levels configuration if "download fonts" is checked?

It is in mine, and I can see those custom fonts.

Please check this URL: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/web/...=%20&fsize=

It is the demo in the microsoft size about using custom fonts. If you see custom fonts here, then my page is not working. If you don't, then it has to do with your security settings. Can you see custom fonts here? (You can tell if you do if you see the bottle of wine in the lower, right end, big bold typography in the title and scripted fonts in the "Bon Apetit" text in the bottom of the page).

EDITED

Hehehehe - I'm a stupid Wink I mistook the filename. Well, WEFT did, 'cause it generated "SYDNIE1.eot" in its CSS output but created the file "SYDNIE0.eot"... Intelligent programs.

I think I've fixed everything. Now it *should* work Wink

Yep, same situation as wildcard here.

Ads loaded on first page, did not load after that.... Ads load in mozilla. I think that summarizes everything
