That better? Neither on the right or left.... :^_^: .... Just a lil bit of both....
That makes more sense than left or right.
THE WHEEL BELONGS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE! I BET YOU REVERSE DRIVERS DON'T HAVE THE OPPOSITE OF OUR RULE OF "GIVE WAY TO THE RIGHT"? IN YOUR CASE TO THE LEFT?

Hrm... accidents...

THE RIGHT SIDE I TELL YA!
If you drive on the right side of the road the wheel goes on the left.

Vice Versa. Not too hard of a concept to understand. I understood why that works a while back, but I forget now.
You are on the oncoming traffic side whilst driving. You can better judge the distance between vehicles. I find while passing other cars, I can often over compensate and I hit the dirt on the opposing side of the road.
the wheel izzon the right side so people can hold a large wooden stick and jab on coming cars in hopes of knocking them off the road.

It's done for those who can't become one with the car (Feel where everthing is), so they can visualy judge the distance of oncoming cars as they pass by.... Notice as you sit in the passenger's side, and look towards the diver's side of the bonnet (hood), it looks like it in the other persons lane, when in fact it isn't.

For those that can't feel where that wheel is, they'd panic everytime someone came down the opposite lane, if they sat on the same side of the car as the lane they drove in....

This is also why, most likely, beginer drivers go off their side of the road into the dirt.... They can't visualy tell where that side of the car is.... But going off the side of the road (correctly, some do stupid stuff to get back on the road that ends up killing them.... In the US at least) is safer than straying into the other lane for a head on.... ouch....

I wonder why they don't teach feel anyway? I can feel a car cause I was tought how... Sure, they say how correct it, but not how to feel it.... Skip-Barber tries, but alot of people badger them saying it's unsafe to train new divers how to drive...... Tongue ..... And giving out a computer test, taking a few laps around town, and handing them premmision isn't? *shake head*

Anyway.... Enough ranting from me..... Confusedhifty:
Alright. Now that I *Just* saw FF7: AC for the first time, in English, that I payed for, I can say that my real desktop looked like this:

D'OH

I want to see that really bad...

And I bought it... cuz I work at GameStop so I get 15% off Tongue... but I haven't got a chance to watch it yet because finals week is next week, d'oh.... Conversely, I am supposed to be writing a Macroeconomics paper right now, but instead I'm talking to you jokers ... yeah. Well anyways, I should probably get back to the dumb paper :x
Good luck with that paper.

The feel of the car is a very important factor which is not normally taught even by parents. I was taught from the start to feel what the car is doing. Not just at the wheel but at the feet, your bum, body roll, etc.

Why a lot of accidents happen is because of excessive body roll and over steering. Most of the time drivers who have these accidents are probationary license holders. To explain I need to show you something.

Steps to getting your license in Australia. (and it is slightly varying state to state but this is the basic concept)

Learner's Permit: Must drive with a FULL license holder guiding you and not to exceed 80km's/hr. Must hold for three months minimum. Age 16+.

Probationary license: can drive unattended, speed limited to 100km's/hr. Power restricted to some level, I think it's 160KW per metric tonne of body weight. Not sure. This would be your average large family car with a 3,xL V6 engine. A V8 can be driven if it's like a F100 truck or a Ford XB coupe with a V8 in it. Age 18+ (17 some states) and must hold for three years.

Full license: state and national laws apply, no power restrictions, providing the vehicle you drive is in the "car" category. Age is whenever you qualify for one. Renewal periods are 1-10 years.

Yeah.... And I bet a good majoraty in the US would ask you to repeat that in English.... I was lucky to have a x-cop for a dad who took a more un-traditional (at least un- as far as the US goes) aprouch to teaching me car controll....

Yeah.... 99% of teen diver deaths, here where I live alone, are from over steering.... They go off the side the road and panic, jerk only to come back up on the tarmac right across into oncoming traffic.... and you can prolly figure the end result....

anyway....
