THE SHUTTLE.... !!!!!
#21
Yeah, sure. The problem with Mr. Bush is that he strongly believes he is the good guy of the film. This ain't a film, Mr. Bush, is that I try to say. I don't think Iraq has atomic bombs. They just can't. The U.N. crew didn't find anything. Bush wants petrol, and wants it fast.

Wizardlife, this isn't a question of left wings or right wings. This is a question of starting World War III. If Bush attacks Iraq on his own, be sure that all the mid-east countries will get very, say VERY upset. We don't want this. Personally I consider that Sadam can't attack the USA. If he could, he would have done it yet. He doesn't even have the guts to have an interview with the UN main man. He's kinda scared, and revolving.

There is money, a lot of money involved. Think about it carefully. Does you really think that one of the poorest, of not the most, countries on earth has the money and resources to build a bomb? It is stupid. Even if Saddam had an atom bomb, and he fired it, then he would have 1,000 over his ass. He is not that stupid, I believe.

Personally, I'd rather like that someone shooted at that arsehole's head right now. A single bullet to kill a single man. That easy. Big bombs kill innocent citizens. Think about what happened in 1991. An American bomb falled over a bunker, killing more than 3 hundred people, 113 of them being children.

Really, think about it. And don't talk about silly politics. This ain't the moment.

Sad. yeah, that's just tragic. i dont want to imagine the horror of that experience.

and to nate: well, mr. bush seems to be in tune with the words of joseph stalin: "one man's death is a tragedy, one million is a statistic"

Toonski: True. True. That's funny, though. Nice endeavour. I concur.

For the main topic... Yeah, I remember what happened to Challenger. I was 8 back then, and I felt really bad. Since I was a child I wanted to become an astronaut. I still have nice thinkings and wishes upon the space investigation. Appart from the tragic death of seven valuable people, it is a pitty that the international space station will get an undefined delay on its developing. Also, the money lost with that crash ... oh my god. That will be a real punch.

it's hard to tell. there are two things that can happen from here: one, the money lost (~12 billion in 1986 money, as the record shows) will p-off congress, who will then make more budget cuts to nasa in the wake of the war. or, the budget will remain the same, and they'll start pushing the x-33 into development and cut back on future launches. either way, it's going to suck for nasa...

Yeah, just saw that. Scary.

Nathan: I agree, an assassin would be the best thing for Saddam. But unfortunately that's not really an option...

that guys full of crap. he's the same breed as guys who go around selling "peices of the berlin wall" after it came down and american flags for 50 bucks after the 9/11 attack. the melted peices of the shuttle are too toxic for humans to handle anyhow.

as for saddam, well, there are times i just want to smack people but that damned "diplomacy" thing keeps holding me back. so does international law. though that only operates in convenience.
