And what those codes does?

I know C, I have got a Dev-C++, and a Turbo-C 2.1. These are DOS ones - will they compile under it?

Yeah, they will, but you probably need the makefiles, as they include custom libs at times.

Python. It IS the stepping stone from BASICs to OOriented programming languages;.

It runs under windows or dos, depends on which you want, is as easy as QBasic, and has unlimited potential like QB. Plus library development is far advanced to QBasic so far (it's already got swift MP3 support!)

Plus it's cross-compatible between dos/win and the 'nix systems :"D

I have a version of Python - should I learn it?

I know XBasic, and Dev-C++ a little for now.

Is Python fast? (Or not as I red about that graphic program) Speed is the most important for me (but not as much to learn 32bit Windows assembly Smile ).
