That looks cool. And for $10 I'll host anyone at The Geekery for 2 years. Tongue J/k.

If I've known anyone around here long enough and they're nice to me, qbnz.com/yourname is available, with FTP, PHP5, Mysql, you name it...

Anyway, I stumbled across http://jc-hosting.co.uk/ the other day, 30 megs, PHP, easy access to a mysql db if you want, SSL, lotsa bandwidth. The only problems are the old FTP server (you have to turn passive mode off for it to work) and it's slightly slow. I think it seems like a good deal Smile

...Besides the fact that it loads 5 bytes in 3 hours? Yeah, it's a good host.

Well for me, Lycos is the best commercial hoster out there... The ads really weren't that big a deal (until that added that massive side banner...

Geocities: garbage.

Well thanks for all your input on this topic Big Grin . I made a decision a bit earlier in this post, I picked geocities, put if I waited longer I would of maybe picked a different one. I already did work on the site and don't feel like restarting.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo!

Unless the one and only thing that you're worried about is ad banners, go with Lycos. It's practically better in every way.

[SPAM] I can host it if you want [/SPAM]

But there are some "free hosting" search engines out there, and they could lead ya somewhere.

I use graffiti.net. Free, no banners or popups, enough space for my needs, blah blah blah. The only downside is that YOU (the person signed up with graffiti.net) get adds as your navigating graffiti.net under your login name (like when you update your site, check email, ect). That is, unless you sign up for their premium service or whatever. I would say its about 1 add per every 10 to 20 page changes.
