Auuuu.... Nath, I think that the meaning of "PP256 palette" is default VGA palette, that's it, the same pal used in PCXs version 2. (not 5)

Please use this as a reference. Hope this helps. (realmente es muy emputecedor eso de explicarse en un idioma distinto al nativo y que más encima te ignoren) *sigh* ¬_¬;

And about the game, sorry if I'm too skeptical but I prefer to wait for something before sending graphics and samples. (and I'm really busy to help right now, anyways) :-?

Sorry for not replying very fast but I can't reply in weekends ya know? But ok, I got the PP256Pal and it's downloadable now:

I think the 768 byte string should be compatible with DirectQB, also with other GL's. If you don't like the 768 byte string, but want the Jasc format, download the Jasc format here (compatible with Paint Shop Pro for instance):

Also, I got the menu structure done, and my OL (Object Library) is finished. But now the main problem, the type of game, I got two options:

Quote:(1) A pokemon style game (everyone should know this) Screenshots at http://lavender.fortunecity.com/wildbunc...nshots.htm. This includes a overhead RPG thus.
(2) A mordor style game (cool VBgame btw!) Screenshots at http://pc.hotgames.com/games/mordor/scrn01.htm. This is the photo part, a red_Marvin said.

And er... since I now am at the game part, some rules :-):

Quote:(1) The images must be 50x50 in PCX (5) format, with the standard PP256 Pal. If, for some reason, you can't do this, I'll convert them to the right format for you.
(2) I'm using MOD-Music (yeah right, DOS) so please send in any sounds compatible with the mod-samples.
(3) Since the main menu contains 18 pictures of enemies scrolling around the screen, the first 17 who send their pictures to me will get next to my picture in the scrolling main menu!

Setup program to set up your sound card is also done. (also supports auto detection but no test feature).

¿Pero que carajo pasa con ese PP256? ¿Por que usan un programa tan malo?

I'll work on my avatar and sounds this afternoon, then I'll send them to you.
