feature request:
1. latest files list in FILE menu
2. auto-try fbc.exe under the same directory where FBide.exe stays in (or .\fbc) if no fbc.exe is found according to the ini file
3. add "locate fbc" in "option" menu to make the answer more clear and easy: http://forum.qbasicnews.com/viewtopic.php?t=8144
4. autosave while "quick run"
thanx

#4 would defeat the purpose of using Quickrun. If you autosave, then you have essentially overwritten the last valid copy of your code.

Right now, it warns you on exit if you haven't saved the changes to the original file. Wink

if no path is set in the ini then same folder is assumed where the FBIde.exe is. And beside -bot FBIde+FB package(installer) and FBIde standalone (installer) write the ini file for you, with the correct fbc path -so no need to edit!

the rar'ed version however does need editing.

Great job man -- I have experienced zero problems from 0.1 to 0.3.3
Except one -- I have to put Fb in an FB folder cause I would not have a clue as to how to redirect things with a change of folder name.
This problem arises when you wish to upgrade FB but do not wish to eliminate the old version ( in case it has problems )
The only problem I can see with downloading both is that the new FB may have back compatibility problems and old .bas programs may not work
I am experiencing this now --- but luckilly did not get rid of FB 0.1

The compatibility problems are mostly caused by FBC bugs, that are being fixed.

In version before 0.11b, you could reDim a static array, which you shouldnt be able to, as it may cause some nasty mem-leaks.

I just realized I had done that in my source when I tried compiling with FBC 0.11b, good thing it got caught Big Grin
