Anim8or vs Blender 3D

dont let these people fool you ;P i'm an accomplished modeler and i cant stand anim8or and blender... yeah, they got great features.. but there not the only good programs around... even tho it seems thats all you ever here about...

You're also quite the elitist and hot-air blower...

Milkshape sucks. it has a terrible interface that you need an ubermachine to use effectively. Iirc though, it uses gtk...which would explain everything.

i tried milkshape a while back, i used it for a couple months, itis innterface is similar to ac3d, and it definately has some nice features... but its not as "solid" as ac3d... it definiitaly feels kinda like a kia rio next to a honda civic, but hey, you can take em both for a spin

as far as me being full of hot air, hehe, well whatever, i've been modeling for quite a while i guess.... going on 2 years experiance, i started duriing the winter cause i got tired of gaming.... and didnt feel like coding... and i'd see all these people dothese crazy models online in some forum.. so ii picked up a copy of milkshape and started messing w/ it... me and a friend that used to work at the gas station i'm working at now would trade designs on space ships and we'd both model on our ideas for hours... then i had another friend who brought hiis computer by and left it at my house.. every night he got off work and would come over, we'd spend a couple hours gaming, and a couple hours modeling each nighth.. by taht time i was using Wings3d, because i liked the intterface alot more, and so did he. Just by playing leapfrog, then teaching the other what we learned, we both got pretty good...

sinse then i had done alot of solo stuff just so i dont get rusty, but nothing like before, no goals or anything... untill me and rattrapmax6 started hanging out online... me and him would modeland design our own cars and "mech's" i'm also doing the models w/ rattrapmax6 for a game by torrahteen, and syn9...and i did the buildings for syn9's zerog (the new one) and i'm going to be doing more for that game i think....

so thats iti, the full bag of hot air... if i dont have the right to speak of what modelers i prefer just because of free speach, i feel that i have the right to voice my oppinion because i have experiance :p
