Exactly
The thing I wanted to point out is the incredibly bipolarity of the U.S.American society. I mean, I might be wrong, 'cause all what I'm saying is extracted from what you export: movies and tv shows:
1.- Officially, people praise the purity, the virginity. Cussing is bad, everything looks gross, showing a nipple causes huge fuss, Spanish films are considered pornographic, topless is banned almost everywhere.
2.- But, actually, people are aching to get to the University to enter a brotherhood or sorority to have all the sex, all the alcohol, and do all the nasty things they want.
3.- When the University ends, everything is shelved, denied and forgotten, and people return to the #1 definition.
This duality is very strange to me. In my country everything is more relaxed. We are not uptight repressed people in #1 and #3, and we are not sex machines in #2
.
To me it's very interesting that the Mardi Grass happens in the U.S.A.. I couldn't think of a simmilar festival in my country. Seriously. Try to tell a Spanish woman that you'll give her a collar if she show you her breasts, and she'll punch you so hard that you'll never be able to say "excellent" again.
I can't understand how a country which has such a big problem with the human body (apparently), has the Mardi Gras and is, for exanple, the World's #1 porno producer. I think that around 60% of pornography consumed in the world comes from the U.S.A.
