lol, wow... That's a differance! 16... Oh, my friend went to Switzerland on, get this a "Mission Trip" and came back with a suivineer, a bottle of alchohol that was 40 proof! He brought it on his carry on, they never asked anything about it! (he's 14) He said the guy just picked it up and said, "huh, oh ok" When he bought it he didn't really know it was alchohol though, it's in a funny shape... he just wanted a suiveneer (or at least that's what he told me )

In NZ: 18 for drinking, smoking etc.

I think that's stupid. 18 year olds aren't old enough or smart enough to drink (and drive: 15 years old, can you believe?) or smoke.

And with guns: If, UQB, you feel threatened by your own police having guns to the point of feeling like you need your own, what does that tell me, an outside observer, about the american people and their police? Are you seriously worried that the police are gonna "take over" the whole country, and make you live in a hole 24/7, or do you think you need a gun so if a police man doesn't like your attitude and pulls a gun on you you can show him who's boss?
