Would anyone be interested in doing an AI challenge? If so post here and post your idea(s). It could be anything from a making a bot for a simple game to a chat program that has to question you about something to get an answer, and anything in between.

I think a chatting AI bot, like roland, challenge would be cool.
I think it's a cool idea. I've done a few "mock AI" programs in the past.
on AIM there are some "AI" robots you can talk to. that would be interesting. but they never im you you have to im them. it would be cool to make it so randomly they would IM you. or whatever.
Make a FSM for fighting games. And an interpreter for it. I think it is hard enough.
I made a simple talking program that you teach to talk while talking to it. It works well even though it has very little amount of code. I would like to see how far it can be taken. Imagine a program that can learn a whole language from just talking to it. I would put the code up but you need a txt file with 1000 of * them as well.
Why dont you zip the program and files up then? You can host it temporarily here:

I would love to have an AI compo, but I'm just wierd. :bounce:
