Quote:Cool! Though once when I wan them both at the same time my screen resolution didn't change back.... but then i tried running both again and no problem =/

Why would you want to run them both? They're the same prog. The other one is just fullscreen.
Wierd thing, rel, your mingw swirl demo works find on these library terminals, but your fbasic demos, I see a flash of a window and then it stops executing almost instantly.

Wierd stuff, wierd stuff...

They work fine on my dorm computer.
DX prolly. v3cz0r made the libs. I don't know if he used DX or GDI for displays.

I'll see what I can do.
Because I can?
I didn't know I could be done. :*)
rel, I think you're just hearing what you want to hear Smile Where did "dx prolly" come from?

Joe try this:

If this won't run on that comp. Then DX is the problem.

3dswirly uses the GDI whereas the torus uses DX.

v3c: Better recompile the PTC lib to GDI. :*(
Probably some problem with MMX? What CPU was that? TinyPTC also was compiled for Pentium's Pro with VC6, could be some invalid opcode on an pre-pentium pro that Windows is hidding..

GDI version will run probably 2 to 3 times slower thatn the DX one.
I just tried that 3d torus (mingw ver, above link) on a dx 6 comp and it won't run. As I did not add the MMX module to my ptc lib, I guess it's not MMX but DX.
Nah, "DX" makes sense. The library computers are all pentium 4's with win2k, so they probably don't have dx.
