Nope,. and i never said that.
IE is fine, but FireFox
is better.
Pros:

Built in download manager
Tabs!!!
Download manager is v easy to use
Other stuff!

I'll tell you:
Cons:
* It's slower
* It's bigger
* It's not integrated with the windows shell
* 90% of sites are designed for IE (that sucks, but that happens).
* YOu can't use the Google bar (I use it all the time
)

You dont need the google toolbar!
FireFox already has popup blocking, AND a quick field for searching google next to the address bar! I agree on the fact that most websites are designed for IE, eg my old website looked slightly flucked up when I looked at it in FireFox, but usually they are n00b websites. Professional websites should be able to run on any browser, and readily they do!

But I love my google toolbar. Not only does it have the popup blocker and quick search, but you can typing "www.whateversite.com" and it'll open that up in a new window. That feature makes opening a site quickly happen really easily. Especially with how we've mentioned ie is faster.

Aah, but in firefox you just open a new
tab and type it in
And actually, firefox is a faster browser, if you go into one file and change the delay before it starts loading the page. Firefox by default sits there for 250ms waiting so that downloaded data can get a head start before it starts to render the page, and you can turn this down to zero to get a large speed increase.
So, I guess if you want to keep IE it's your choice. All I'm campaigning for is for the world to at least know there's a better alternative (web-standard wise), so I can spend less time looking at sites through 6 different browsers to make it work

I have had both, I just prefer IE.
I like the tabbed window idea, as it's one of the reasons (actually probably the only, next to spell check and multiplatform coverage) that I use Gaim.
I'm just used to IE maybe, and don't want to mess with firefox and find out about it.
The only reason I got it was a few months ago, someone created a side menu for a forum I visited and I wanted to try it out.
Another reason I stick with IE is because the active desktop links would have to be changed. And I'm lazy

Lazyness is the main reason when it comes down to the crunch time. Most people just can't be bothered...
