Hi
I've been looking into this Freebasic language. Qoop was the last thing I made, so I've been out of the loop for a while. Back then Future Library had just come out, but was so full of bugs that a lot of the code that I used in Qoop would need to be redesigned. Aside from high-res support, it lacked the functionality at that time to do what I wanted it to do.
Anyway, I have a few questions about Freebasic, as I'm trying to get back into this after over 3 years out of the loop. I was thinking of porting it into VB6 but that would be a whole pile of work.
Does Freebasic require you to write the code in an editor and then compile it every time you want to test it?
Are any decent graphic libraries available (true colour, high res, 3D texture support, etc)?
I've seen a number available for download but arent sure where to start. Maybe if you can point me in the right direction I will consider converting the game and redoing all the graphics.
