That was exactly my point. When life sucked for me, I built a bridge and got over it, instead of turning to faith, and it worked for me. I'm not saying that faith can't pull you through, all I'm saying is that you can be strong without faith, in my experience

I think that it is simply a case of humans wanting to be able to explain things that they can't, so they make up "Gods" who can do those things, thus religeon is born.
