Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on my game any more, so what's submitted is what's submitted. I have to get TBN's main web site up and running as soon as possible, so I'm focusing all my time and effort into that at the moment. But Lachie, keep up the good ideas man, you seem to have a knack for this Big Grin
Cool! I'll use DirectQB in stead of FutureLib so it'll be compatible with everyone. Big Grin
Wasn't able to test Fundee and Ryan's entrie properly on my ancient PC back home. Damn, these moments make wonder about my activity as a game designer while having really poor hardware.

Falling Starz is based on a very good idea but sadly is very technicaly imperfect. Still, every entry counts!

In final version of Cannons I didn't liked small gaps between delay values in options menu. Took me some time too reduce the delay for my ancient PC.

RST emailed me his entry. Not able to test it now, but it will be added to challenge poll. It's called Free Fall.

You mean the the delay changes too little for each keypress
I'll fox that tonight if I can remember it til then...
[hint] ...or just edit the delay.cfg file [/hint] Tongue
I did read the readme.txt file which is funny BTW. You could have said that in THERE.
The official way is to change it via the options menu
the way I shown was for 1337 h4x0rz Tongue

Well, as I said I might aswell make another "last" update
when I come home

EDIT::Must go to lesson... bye

Eh? Fundee should run fine on any 386-class machine with a standard VGA card...and yeah it requires a 386 machine minimum, although it is pipelined for 586. It uses 1MB of XMS memory...maybe that's why you can't run it. Big Grin
Wasn't able to test it PROPERLY. It did worked. But sooooo slow.
Let's not start guessing what PC I own.
Ah yeah...it is a very slow game on older machines because of the massive amounts of data it moves per frame (over 100KB from XMS to real memory, and then another 64KB move from conventional memory to VRAM). Needless to say...you NEED a 586 class machine to run it with any decent speed Big Grin

Lemme guess...386SX/33? Smile
STOP IT!
